Raleigh to Nag’s Head, June 2026
Waking up on day two of this adventure, I am thinking about how best to share this content. I could either upload the raw footage from the ATEM mini directly to MinIO without any additional editing, or import the clips into Kdenlive for post-processing. Both are a challenge when bandwidth and compute resources are limited. For now I am going to link to the YouTube VODs to provide immediate access without these issues, but I am considering alternative solutions. PeerTube is a viable candidate.
Last night I enjoyed a walk on the beach with some incredible stargazing thanks to my Nikon Trailblazer binoculars.

I was later able to join the Luanti server for a little building and exploring. I will actually probably be online often this week, especially in the evenings while I sit in my car before going to bed.
It was neither the most nor least comfortable I’ve been sleeping in my car. I use an ExPed MegaMat in the back of my Subaru, which provides excellent support and comfort; however, the wind was quite cold and my sleeping bag hot which lead to a night of insomnia and cold sweats.

Sadly, I did not pack any tea to enjoy this morning either. I will pick some up at some point today while I search for a location with a stronger connection with AT&T for live streaming. Nevertheless, I am feeling well this morning and am ready to explore the island and host more live streams. I will continue posting updates along the way.
